Creative ClayHouse makes parties fun and easy!
Before the party:

Decide on a date and time.

Choose your party package (click Children, Teens, or Adults for details)

Call or drop by the studio and reserve your party date & time with a $50 deposit (we accept M/C, Visa, & Discover). Local checks and cash are great too!

Send out the invitations (we can give you printed directions or you can send them to our website),

Order the food, cake, and balloons. Pick up the plates, forks, drinks and any other items you want to bring. (Don’t forget the camera, candles, matches, knife and ice cream server)

Relax – we take care of the rest!
On the party day:

Arrive 20 minutes early, we have a freezer and fridge you can use.

Decide if you are picking up all the pieces or if guests need to pick them up individually.

We’ll have your room set up for the designated number of painters.

You greet the guests. For children and teen parties, please greet the parents and send them off for 2 hours of peace and quiet.

We’ll help each painter choose a piece to paint (children get a party bag to color). We’ll give brief instructions and let them paint away!
After the painting is done the food is served.
After the party:

We do the clean up!
-
We glaze and fire all the pottery
One week later:

Your pottery is ready for pick up

Each piece will be in a bag with the child’s name on it!

Making Reservations
Reservations must be made at least one week prior to your party. The earlier, the better! Saturdays tend to fill up fast! We do require a $50.00 deposit at the time you make your reservation. This amount will be applied to your bill the day of the party. In the case of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable.

Will you stay open after hours?
We will extend our hours for parties or groups of 8 or more. There is a $25/hour fee for each hour after our regular hours (up to 10:00 p.m. the rate increases!). This may be refunded if the party exceeds $250 in sales (and concludes by 10 p.m.).
We offer Parties To Go for those who want to paint on Sunday. Please read on.

Parties To Go!
If you would like to take one of our party packages on the road, we will box up the items and you can take them with you. We require that items be returned within 72 hours (3 working days) of pick up. The price is the same as a regular party package. This is a great option for slumber parties, family reunions, Thanksgiving, Christmas or any celebration.

The Details
Cancellation & Attendance Policy:
If you cancel your party, the $50.00 deposit cannot be refunded. We are happy to reschedule your party within 60 days. If your party has less than ten painters, you will still be charged for ten painters… but, grown-ups may substitute for kids if you’re short on kids.
A Request from us:
Due to limited space, we request (plead and beg) that no more than three non-painting adults attend your party. It just gets too cramped and we need to leave seats for painters. However, if grown ups would like to stay they are welcome to do so if they are painting, just let us know and we’ll reserve a table in another room.
One last thing:
So there are a few things that we have found do not mix well with pottery…crazy I know! Here they are: piñatas, bouncing balls, silly string, balloon swords (or swords of any type), games that involve running or jumping inside, and noise makers. (O.K. noise makers don’t do anything to pottery… but they do make everyone a bit cranky.) Thanks for helping us keep the sanity!
